Our family and friends gathered at Grandma's Renee's house to bid farewell to my Dad and Alesha as they embark on their new adventures in Florida.

Everyone was eating and having a good time. I was sitting at the dinner table enjoying the festivites. Suddenly, I hear footsteps coming from the lower level of the house. Perris, my dad and Pop Pop Tom were walking up the stairs into the dining area. I didn't think anything of it, until Perris says, "Excuse me everyone, I have an annoucement to make." I literally froze in place. Perris went on the say "Chloe Knight..." I turned around from my chair to face him. He pulled out a ring box from his pocket and got down on one knee. At this time, I begin to cry. I was so overwhelmed with joy that I could barely speak. Everyone was taking pictures and applauding. Eventually, I composed myself enough to say "Yes!" In my eyes, he proposed in the most perfect way possible-with the support of my friends and family.
